Manjusha’ a name to be reckoned with Indian Classical / Vocal Music. Born at Maharashtra’s ‘Natya - Pandhari’ Sangli. Sangli, a small town from western Maharashtra which is khown as Maharashtra’s Artistes Paradise’Who gave us a great Maestros like Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar and Lata Mangeshkar to name a few.Manjusha is M.A.(Music) from Shivaji University-a 1st rank holder, and Sangeet Visharad of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Manjusha is an 'A' graded artiste of AIR (All India Radio) for Light and Classical Music.
She started her music career with Pt.Chintubua Mhaiskar in 1982, at a very tender age when she was 12 years.Manjusha became a discipe of Pt. Kanebua.Under his able guidence in traditional Gurukul system Manjusha groomed as an emerging artiste of her generation of Agra and Gwalior Gharana Tradition.
She took almost 12 years of training from him until he passed away in 1997. But at that time he groomed her career as a performing artiste and very next year in 1998 Manjusha performed in Sawai Gandharva’.
Manjusha also received training from latePt.Narendra Kanekar-a stauch disciple of Pt.D.V.Kanebuwa and notable vocalist Smt.Shubhada Paradkar
